With more than 15 years experience as a photographer, Evelyn decided in 2014 to follow her dream, and open a boutique studio in Co. Limerick. Evelyn’s work has been featured on Limerick Now Magazine, Brides of Limerick and her work has been recognized by the Irish Professional Photographers Association, where she has received both Gold & Silver Awards for her Wedding Photography, Children’s Portraiture & Travel Photography. With her relaxed, welcoming and friendly approach, its easy to see why her customers choose her, to capture, their key moments.
Her latest and on-going project is a series of local life in rural Ireland, photographing things that are quintessentially Irish and the people who make Ireland the island it is ,entitled “Only In Ireland”.
Her main goal is to do her best to ensure that your first day as newly-wed's is captured in your hearts “As the best day of your life".When Evelyn is not seen photographing weddings or children, you can find her antique hunting, going to gigs and spending quality time with her fiercely-loyal but semi-obedient dog's Poppy & Gerry.
Evelyn's dream is to live in a world where, a dance break is mandatory and that there is no such thing as the Five second Rule!

Evelyn O’Connor Photography is a quirky boutique studio based in Foynes, Co.Limerick, specialising in Wedding, Newborn and Family Portraiture. Evelyn’s love of interiors and upcyled/rustic décor makes the space charming, warm and perfectly tailored to a mother’s needs, and wouldn’t look out of place in a Nancy Meyers movie,Or as one customer commented.. “I could sit here all day, and wait for Hugh Grant to walk in..”( and she now lives here full-time ☺)
There are also plenty of places to sit and relax. Evelyn take’s great pride in ensuring that you have a great experience and her main goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible during your session. Her patience and relaxed attitude, ensures your children are immediately at ease with her, and she has an exceptional way with them…probably because deep down she’s still a big child herself!!
A dedicated area is available within the studio for bride and grooms to view samples and albums at their leisure.
